Lakes Kulovesi and Rautavesi in the
Vammala area are narrow, muddy and lush. These waters have plenty of
zander, pike and big perch. The narrow torrents between lakes are
fascinating spots, where your lure may also be napped by a
bright-flanked asp, the regional fish of the Tampere Region. Settlements
on the shores of Lake Rautavesi are among the oldest in the region. The
area is one of Finland’s national heritage landscapes and you can find
both majestic forests and medieval churches on the lake shores. |
